I've just delivered this new painting 'There's No Place Like Home' to Gower Gallery in Mumbles. I've been working and tweaking this one for quite a while but it's now varnished, framed and off to find a new home. Inspired by the Gower coastal path between Limeslade and Rotherslade and Langland Bay, the title is a nod to The Wizard of Oz because the Yellow Brick Road usually springs to mind when walking the bright yellow gorse lined path! Oil, cold wax and pastel on wooden panel. Framed in a wooden St. Ives style frame, handpainted soft white (Farrow and Ball 'All White'). If you would like to view the painting, Gower Gallery currently have it displayed in their window along with a selection of my smaller pieces.
